No Name Brand Peaches/Rosebank Pick N'Pay /Jo'burg

Design blogs and GOOD have been buzzing about minimalist brand design. Since the launch of the new Starbucks cup yesterday minimalism is really going to drop (or drip) in the hands of millions. My counterpoint is that this has been happening since Delillo's White Noise and my favorite passage in all of American literature, as well as in any Pick N' Pay store in a Republic of South Africa near you.

It's not new. It might just take a discerning eye to find.
